End of summer fun...

We have been trying to enjoy what little bit of summer is left. On saturday we went to the monster truck show at the state fair cuz the first time we took Noah to monster trucks he LOVED them, well, unfortunately he was EXHAUSTED so he didnt enjoy it as much as we thought he would, he did enjoy it, dont get me wrong. He was just in that dazed exhausted zone. He actually ended up crashing out and missed the end. And then TODAY...we decided to go down to the nature center with Noahs best friend Rayne and her daddy trice. We also took the dog and thought it would be fun to play in the river. Noah LOVED it!! He had a blast gettin all wet and throwing rocks. We even saw a snake swimmin thru the water :). Just a garder snake, nothin crazy, lol. Well Nius was having such a BLAST playing in the water that Steven let him off his leash and he kept going further and further away from us, with the current that is, which wasnt strong, he was just running in that direction. He hit a huge drop off, well, if you know nius, he is a puppy at heart and he does NOT know how to swim, he just kept tredding and tredding and sinking more and more, so Steven had to finally go and save him, he said he couldnt even touch the bottom of the drop off. And best of all he still had his wallet and keys and smokes in his pocket, thankfully only the smokes went floating down the river. I wish I could have gotten pics of nius BEFORE that happened tho, he was such a lil puppy again, he was so happy and LOVED playing in the water. Steven doesnt find it as amusing as Trice and I do but I think one day he will look back and laugh about it, lol!
